1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RifTok (“RifTok”, “Platform”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By registering, accessing or using RifTok, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and any additional rules displayed within the Platform.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use RifTok.
2. Nature of the Platform
RifTok is a social content and creator platform that allows users to:
Upload and share videos;
Follow other users;
Like and comment on content;
Participate in challenges;
Participate in tournaments;
Vote or engage with eligible content;
Purchase Coins;
Send Coins as digital gifts;
Receive eligible digital gifts;
Request withdrawal of eligible creator balances, subject to these Terms and applicable requirements.
RifTok is not intended to provide betting, wagering, gambling, lotteries or games of chance.
3. Eligibility You must satisfy the minimum age and other eligibility requirements applicable to your location and the relevant app-store policies.
Certain financial features may require a higher minimum age, identity verification or additional eligibility requirements.
RifTok may restrict or disable a feature for a user where required by law, regulation, app-store policy, payment-provider requirements or safety considerations.
4. User Account
You are responsible for:
Providing accurate account information;
Keeping your login credentials secure;
Maintaining control of your account;
Not sharing your account for prohibited purposes;
Informing RifTok of unauthorised access.
You must not create fake, duplicate or deceptive accounts for manipulation, fraud or abuse.
5. User-Generated Content
Users may upload videos, captions, comments and other permitted content.
You retain ownership of your original content, subject to the rights granted to RifTok under these Terms.
By uploading content, you grant RifTok a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display, distribute and technically modify the content as necessary to operate, maintain, promote and improve the Platform.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload the content.
6. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You must not use RifTok to:
Upload illegal content;
Upload child sexual abuse or exploitative content;
Promote sexual exploitation;
Threaten or harass another person;
Promote hate or unlawful discrimination;
Impersonate another person;
Infringe copyright or other intellectual-property rights;
Conduct fraud or financial scams;
Manipulate votes, likes, comments or engagement; Use bots or automated systems to generate artificial engagement;
Create fake accounts to manipulate platform activity;
Circumvent account restrictions;
Launder, transfer or misuse funds;
Use Coins for betting, wagering or gambling;
Conduct unauthorised financial transactions;
Upload malware or malicious software;
Promote illegal activities;
Attempt to manipulate the withdrawal system;
Abuse chargebacks or refunds;
Otherwise violate applicable law or Platform rules
. 7. Moderation, Reporting and Blocking
RifTok may use automated tools, human review and user reports to moderate content.
RifTok may:
Remove or restrict content;
Restrict visibility;
Disable features;
Suspend accounts;
Terminate accounts;
Hold financial balances during investigation;
Report suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities where required.
RifTok will provide appropriate in-app mechanisms for reporting objectionable content/users and blocking users where required by applicable platform policies. Google Play expressly requires ongoing UGC moderation plus in-app reporting and blocking for applicable UGC/social apps.
8. Likes, Comments and Followers
Likes, comments, follows and similar interactions are social-platform functionality.
Users must not artificially manipulate these interactions.
RifTok may remove fraudulent or manipulated engagement.
9. Challenges
RifTok may provide different forms of user challenges.
Challenge participation must comply with the specific rules displayed for the relevant challenge.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, participation does not constitute betting, wagering or payment of a stake.
A user's participation must not require the user to risk money or purchased Coins for the purpose of obtaining a prize.
10. Tournaments
RifTok may provide scheduled tournaments or structured creator activities.
The specific tournament page may specify:
Date and time;
Eligibility;
Participation requirements;
Duration;
Voting method;
Performance criteria;
Number and type of rewards;
Selection method;
Reward fulfilment process.
Important principle
A RifTok tournament is not a betting or wagering arrangement.
Users do not purchase a chance to obtain a prize.
No user is required to stake, wager or risk Coins or money against another user.
Voting and engagement must not be sold as a chance to obtain a monetary prize.
RifTok may cancel, modify or suspend a tournament where required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, technical reasons or platform-policy compliance.
11. Subscription
RifTok may offer paid monthly subscriptions providing access to specified premium features.
The subscription may provide access to eligible challenges, tournaments and other platform functionality as specifically disclosed at the time of purchase.
The subscription price, duration, renewal terms, cancellation terms and benefits will be disclosed before purchase.
A subscription is a payment for platform services and features. It is not a wager, stake or entry fee for obtaining a prize.
Subscription fees are not contributed to a prize pool.
Subscription payments do not guarantee any reward, ranking, selection or payout.
Subscriptions must provide genuine and recurring platform value throughout the subscription period. Google Play requires clear disclosure of subscription price, billing cycle, renewal and material benefits.
12. Subscription Billing
For transactions made through Apple App Store or Google Play, RifTok will follow the applicable store's payment rules.
For Google Play-distributed apps, digital subscriptions and digital goods generally require Google Play Billing unless an applicable exception or properly enrolled alternative-billing programme applies.
For Apple App Store distribution, digital subscriptions and digital functionality are generally subject to Apple's In-App Purchase requirements.
RifTok may use Razorpay or another payment provider only for transactions where such payment method is permitted by the applicable platform rules and law.
13. Coins
Coins are digital units used within RifTok for permitted digital gifting and related platform functionality.
Coins:
Are not bank deposits;
Are not securities;
Are not cryptocurrency;
Are not intended to be used as a betting stake;
Do not represent a guaranteed monetary return;
Cannot be used for wagering or gambling.
Coin balances are subject to Platform records and transaction verification.
RifTok may restrict or reverse fraudulent, unauthorised, duplicated or chargeback-related Coin transactions.
14. Purchase of Coins
Users may purchase Coins through payment methods made available for their device, location and transaction type.
The applicable price will be displayed before purchase.
Where required by Apple or Google, purchases of digital Coins will be processed through the applicable app-store billing system or an approved alternative billing programme.
Google Play expressly treats virtual currencies as digital in-app purchases subject to its payment rules.
15. Digital Gifting
Eligible users may send Coins as digital gifts to eligible creators/users.
A gift transaction may be recorded in both accounts.
A user must not:
Sell or exchange Coins outside authorised RifTok functionality;
Transfer Coins for unlawful purposes;
Use gifts to disguise unauthorised financial transfers;
Manipulate gift transactions;
Use multiple accounts to artificially generate balances.
RifTok may investigate suspicious gift activity.
16. Creator Balance and Withdrawal
A recipient of eligible digital gifts may become eligible for withdrawal of a corresponding creator balance, subject to:
Account eligibility;
Applicable conversion rules;
Minimum withdrawal threshold;
KYC verification;
PAN/tax requirements where applicable;
Bank/UPI verification;
Fraud checks;
Payment-provider requirements;
Applicable law;
Platform rules.
Receiving a digital gift does not automatically guarantee immediate withdrawal.
RifTok may place a temporary hold on balances where fraud, chargebacks, suspicious transactions or legal issues are identified.
17. 20% RifTok Platform Fee
For eligible withdrawal requests, RifTok will charge a 20% Platform Fee on the applicable withdrawal amount unless another fee is expressly displayed before the withdrawal is confirmed.
Example If the eligible withdrawal amount is: 1,000 RifTok coins Platform Fee: 20% = 200 coins remaining before other applicable
deductions: 800 coins Applicable taxes, TDS, payment-processing charges, bank charges or other legally required deductions may apply separately.
The applicable fee and estimated payable amount will be displayed before confirmation wherever technically and legally required.
18. KYC and Withdrawal Verification
RifTok may require identity and payment verification before allowing withdrawals.
Required information may include:
Full legal name;
PAN;
Date of birth;
Bank account details;
UPI details;
Identity documents;
Other information required by the payment partner or applicable law.
The name on the verified payment account may be required to correspond with the verified RifTok account.
RifTok may refuse or delay a withdrawal where verification fails.
19. Payout Processing
RifTok may use authorised payment providers, banking partners or payout infrastructure to process eligible withdrawals.
Razorpay provides infrastructure capable of payment routing, linked-account onboarding and transfers for marketplace/service-provider models, subject to its applicable onboarding, compliance and product requirements.
RifTok does not guarantee a particular payout time where processing is dependent upon banks, payment providers, verification, holidays, technical issues or regulatory requirements.
20. Refunds and Chargebacks
Coin purchases and subscriptions are subject to the applicable payment-provider and app-store refund policies.
Where a transaction is refunded, reversed or charged back, RifTok may:
Reverse related Coins;
Adjust the recipient's eligible balance;
Place a temporary hold; Recover an amount from future eligible balances;
Suspend financial functionality;
Suspend or terminate an account in cases of abuse.
21. Voting and Performance
Where a challenge or tournament uses voting or performance metrics, the applicable rules will specify the relevant measurement method.
Voting must be genuine and must not be artificially generated.
Unless expressly disclosed in official rules, RifTok will not use random selection to determine a reward recipient. Users must not purchase, sell or exchange votes or manipulate voting systems.
22. Rewards
RifTok may provide rewards to eligible participants based on disclosed criteria.
Examples may include:
Mobile phone;
Laptop;
Amazon voucher
; Other physical or non-cash benefits.
The exact reward, eligibility requirements, number of recipients, applicable dates and selection criteria may vary by activity and will be disclosed in the applicable official rules.
Rewards are not guaranteed merely because a user:
Purchases Coins;
Purchases a subscription;
Sends gifts;
Receives gifts;
Uploads a video;
Participates in a challenge.
Where rewards depend on performance or voting, the applicable rules will state the relevant criteria.
23. No Wagering or Chance-Based Monetary
Activity RifTok does not permit:
Betting;
Wagering;
Staking money;
Staking purchased Coins;
Paying money for a chance to receive a monetary prize;
Random paid prize draws;
Casino-style activity;
Lottery-style activity;
Paid randomised selection for monetary benefit.
No portion of a subscription, Coin purchase or Platform Fee is intended to constitute a wager or prize stake.
The Platform may restrict any feature that could create such an arrangement.
24. Official Activity Rules
Where a particular challenge, tournament, promotion or reward activity requires additional rules, those rules will be displayed within the Platform.
The applicable rules may specify:
Eligibility;
Start and end time;
Participation conditions;
Voting method;
Selection criteria;
Number of recipients;
Reward details;
Reward fulfilment date;
Disqualification conditions;
Complaint procedure.
In the event of a conflict between general Terms and activity-specific rules, the activity-specific rules will apply to that activity to the extent legally permitted.
25. Intellectual Property
RifTok and its original software, branding, design, trademarks and platform technology are owned by or licensed to EDUQUIZ TECHNO INSPIRE PRIVATE LIMITED.
Users may not copy, reverse engineer, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit RifTok except as permitted by law.
26. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on RifTok infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, you may contact:
RifTok may remove or restrict allegedly infringing content while investigating a complaint.
27. Account Suspension and Termination
RifTok may suspend or terminate an account where:
These Terms are violated;
Fraud is suspected;
Financial manipulation is detected;
KYC requirements are not satisfied;
Illegal activity is suspected;
Platform safety is threatened;
App-store or payment-provider requirements are violated.
Where legally appropriate, eligible balances may be processed after completion of investigation and verification.
28. Platform Availability
RifTok does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Features may be modified, suspended or discontinued because of:
Maintenance;
Security;
Technical issues;
Legal requirements;
App-store requirements;
Payment-provider requirements;
Business or operational reasons.
29. Third-Party Services
RifTok may rely on third-party services, including authentication providers, app stores, payment providers, analytics services, hosting providers and payout providers.
Third-party services may have their own terms and policies.
30. Taxes and Statutory Deductions
Users are responsible for applicable tax obligations arising from payments, rewards, creator income or other amounts received through RifTok.
Where required by applicable law, RifTok or its payment partners may deduct or report applicable taxes, TDS or other statutory amounts.
The 20% RifTok Platform Fee is separate from statutory deductions unless expressly stated otherwise.
31. Fraud Prevention
RifTok may use automated and manual systems to detect:
Multiple-account abuse;
Fake engagement;
Bot activity;
Payment fraud;
Chargeback abuse;
Identity misuse;
Manipulated voting;
Suspicious gifting;
Unauthorised transactions;
Withdrawal fraud.
Financial balances may be temporarily held during an investigation.
32. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RifTok will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
33. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, users agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from:
Their violation of these Terms;
Their unlawful conduct;
Their infringement of third-party rights;
Fraudulent or abusive use of the Platform.
34. Compliance With Applicable Law
RifTok will operate its services subject to applicable Indian laws and applicable laws in jurisdictions where the service is offered.
Features may be geographically restricted where required.
No feature is intended to permit wagering, betting or prohibited real-money activity.
35. App Store and Platform Compliance
RifTok will maintain its services in accordance with applicable Apple App Store and Google Play policies.
Because app-store policies can change, RifTok may modify payment, subscription, Coin, challenge, tournament, voting or reward functionality to maintain compliance.
Apple requires UGC services to provide mechanisms including objectionable-content filtering, reporting, timely response and blocking, while its payment rules generally require In-App Purchase for digital purchases and subscriptions.
Google Play similarly requires robust ongoing UGC moderation and appropriate reporting/blocking functionality.
36. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in India.
Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over the Company's registered office.
37. Grievance and Support
For complaints, account issues, privacy concerns, payment issues, withdrawal issues or other support matters:

RifTok will make reasonable efforts to review and respond to legitimate complaints within a reasonable period.
38. Changes to These Terms
RifTok may update these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be made available through the Platform.
Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
39. Final Acknowledgement
By using RifTok, you acknowledge that:
RifTok is a social content and creator platform;
Coins are used for permitted digital gifting;
Eligible creator balances may be subject to withdrawal requirements;
A 20% Platform Fee applies to eligible withdrawals unless otherwise displayed;
KYC and verification may be required;
Applicable taxes and statutory deductions may apply;
No user is required to wager or stake money or Coins;
No reward is guaranteed merely because a user makes a purchase;
Voting and engagement must be genuine;
Fraudulent or manipulated activity may result in suspension or termination;
Apple, Google, payment providers and applicable laws may impose additional requirements.
